Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 through her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC she served as the company's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music design. Although she usually led from the acting group but in the final year alongside SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer.
